A First: The Genius Of Leonardo Da Vinci On The iPhone and iPad

For the first time, Leonardo da Vinci is accessible to everyone thanks to the new application from the Château du Clos Lucé developed by BulkyApps.

The app takes you on an innovative, fun and interactive discovery tour of the château, grounds and garden through lots of videos, 360° panoramas, photos, geolocation positioning, 3D animations and more…

The app gives the user an insight into the Renaissance genius’s creative process, revealing the secrets of this multi-talented man: artist, botanist, architect, civil and military engineer and anatomist. It takes you on a virtual tour of some of the rooms in the manor house, such as Leonardo’s bedroom and the model room.

The tour is brought alive by lots of photos of his inventions and clear explanations of how they work.

With an iPhone or iPad it is easy to plan your visit in advance, or you can easily use the app to add extra content while you’re there exploring the Château du Clos Lucé, grounds and garden.

Lastly, the app enables mobility-impaired visitors to see the first floor of the château and discover the places where Leonardo da Vinci lived. With Facebook, Connect and Twitter, the Château du Clos Lucé is creating a dynamic community focused on Leonardo da Vinci. Now anyone can share their experience with their friends and family in real time.
